If you want to create an image classifier for free, without any coding knowledge and in just a few minutes, follow these steps. Note that you will need an Apple MacBook or a device that emulates MacOS.
Download Xcode from the Apple website.
Open Xcode and click on "Xcode" in the menu bar (on the right side of the Apple symbol). Then, click on "Open Developer Tool" and select "Create ML."
Create a new document and choose "Image Classification." Give your project a name.
Create a folder for each class of image that your classifier should recognize. Place the corresponding images in each folder, and then put all of the folders in a new folder. In Create ML, click on the plus button next to the "Training Data" field and select the folder you just created.
You can set the number of iterations to the maximum, as Create ML will automatically stop when the model achieves the best results. Choose the augmentations you want and click on the "Train" button.
When your model is ready, click on "Output" and export the model as a .mlmodel file. You can then send it to your iPhone via AirDrop or another method.
Your model is now ready and can be added and used in UseAI.
